This past weekend we invited Uncle Jack over to have our own little Christmas/Lola's Birthday get together. Uncle Jack bought Lola a new kitchen! She loves it. She is so lucky to have her Uncle Jack, he sure does take good care of her.

Here she is washing her little spoons and knives.

She is drying up the dishes with her dish towel.

Mixing the rice.
Earlier this week we lost the spoons and knives. We searched. No luck. So we gave up and decided they would turn up. Then they surfaced. Lola had put them in the Christmas tree as ornaments.

Lola lead the way in not looking at the camera. She telepathically signalled the dogs to look away.

This is the rough and tough crowd look. Ellie, is looking the toughest of all.

This is Roy's has to pee look and Lola with her eyes open but still not ready to look at the camera.

Ok, Lola where are you? Oh, way back there. Ellie is embarrassed she did not get a pedicure before this shot so she hid her paws.

Mummy look what I did! Lola's favorite ornament is the Tin Man. This year was really neat trimming the tree with Lola. She is so into the ornaments her Gran-Daddy made. When Kerry told her they were made by her Gran-daddy handmade she kissed them very sweetly.

Time to work off the turkey and get to decorating for Christmas.

First bubble bath

Bucket head Lola.
Lola on her preferred relaxing spot. Poor Ellie, who secretly loves the attention.

Thanksgiving eat up! We had a great time cooking and watching the parade all day. We are so thankful for our supportive family and friends. And we are especially thankful for Lola Claire, she is beyond the child we ever dreamt of.

Checking out the Salas hand-crafted Thanksgiving adornments.

Heading out to church in her Sunday best dress.

Working hard shoveling the leaves.

Got a quick shot of Lola in front of the Key Arena before heading into a Storm game.

Lola with her game face on to beat LA. Take that Lisa Leslie!

Prop 8 protest March Seattle

Here are the first time marchers making their game plan on letting their voices be heard.
We saw some really creative signs, here are a few.

Will hanging out waiting for the march to begin.

Lola making a few calls she did not know there would be alot of down time before a march.
Will pointing out the camera lady.

Jeff and Lola chatting it up.

Jeff and Will playing a little touching fingers chicken with Lola to pass the time.

Lola climbing all over the place to get out her energy because she knew when the march started she would be strapped in for a long walk down to Westlake.
Lola getting her march on and being silly.

Finally, the march started and Will wanted to check out the scene from high up in Jeff's arms.

I could not resist taking this photo.

We were on Broadway about to make our turn and got a quick snap of the little ones who passed out and the mommy marchers, Kerry and Deanna.

Jeff, Chuck and Jeff marching, we are about halfway to Westlake.

The news are reporting that the crowd was up to 6,000.
We are all laughing because on one of high rise balconies we spotted a female exhibitionist. Supporting our cause without a thing on!

Bert and Ernie balloons was pretty hilarious.

Me and my girl. She was so good and was loving all the dogs that accompanied the other marchers. We all marched in solidarity, it was such a great feeling. We were so happy to be marching with Deanna, Will and Jeff and their neighbors, Jeff and Chuck. This was Lola and Wills' first march. One day we will tell them, despite this issue being about gay marriage, that not only did older mommies and daddies with older children come out to protest. There were straight couples and parents who share our concern that gays and lesbians deserve the same civil rights as all.

When vote happens!

On msnbc I saw a picture of someone holding The London Times with the headline "The New World" and a picture of Barack.

All I can say is a sigh of relief. Smiles all around today in the Salas household.
